Advent is upon us and here at St. Margaret's we are all ready to mark this special time of year and Jesus being born in Bethleham all those years ago.
Christmas is a time for reflection, celebration and renewal. For lots of us it can be a difficult time of year, particularly for those who find it difficult because of the loss of loved ones.
Whether you want to celebrate the season or you need comfort and a reconnection with God, St. Margaret's is a friendly and inclusive church and we will warmly welcome those who come along to any of the events listed below to mark the season.
Friday 20 December: Carol's by Candelight, 7pm at St. Margaret's followed by refreshments and mince pies in the church hall (collection for ERSKINE).
Sunday 22 December: Advent 4 and St. Margaret's Annual Christmas Party in the church hall immediately after the 11.30am service (lunch will be served and we are expecting a special visitor!).
Tuesday 24 December: Christmas Eve Service will begin at 11pm at St Margaret's.
Wednesday 25 December: Christmas Morning Service will this year be hosted at our sister church - St. John's in Johnstone beginning at 10.30am.
Sunday 29 December: Christmas 1 Service beginning at 11.30am followed by refreshments in the church hall.
We hope you can all join us for some reflection, renewal and fellowship over the season.
